So, if you haven't heard the news--we're moving! Chris got a job in Temple, TX and starts Aug. 9. We took a quick trip to Texas for "spring break" although Chris was only there for 4 days, he made the MOST of it! Two interviews, one job offer, 24 hours--not bad, huh? Anyway, needless to say we've been busy with preparation for moving. Our house goes on the market today and it's been a long week finishing those projects we never quite wrapped up, painting, staging for pictures, dusting, planting, mowing, and dusting (that's right, I had to take a Claritin just to clean my own house!). So, if you know of anyone looking for a house in beautiful Weaverville, NC, send them our way. We are trying to sell it ourselves and are learning a ton along the way.
Meanwhile, our trip to Texas was great one. We were all there, which rarely happens. Here's a picture from Easter after church.
Quick Easter photo shoot. Thanks Mother and Aunt Elizabeth for cute outfit!
Practicing walking with Mom and Aunt Luci. Apparently, it helped because she's now walking more than crawling!
Her favorite swing, thanks to the neighbors!
Before Chris left, we had a date in Austin and I had to show as much as possible. We ate at the Salt Lick in Driftwood. It was delicious and if you're a vegetarian avert your eyes now!
Then I whisked him off to the Oasis for sunset and an unbeatable view!
After Chris left, we took a drive in the hill country in search of the best wildflower/bluebonnet patch. First of many for Charlotte I'm sure!
Before leaving, I met up with a college roommate and her kiddos. This is Belle and Jackson loving on Charlotte.
This is Belle and Jackson taking our picture (not sure which snapped this particular one). I see lots of good photograhy training in their future!
It was really nice to by home for an extended period of time and so funny knowing that we'll be there soon enough. We will most assuredly miss the mountains and our incredible friends here. More on that later...I'm trying to live it up now while we can!

Wow!!! All your pictures are so beautiful! Those flowers are unreal.....almost look fake they're so pretty! And Charlotte looks so cute in her yellow Easter dress! Very happy for all the good news for you guys! (Although we will of course miss yall!)
ReplyDeleteI sure would buy such a cute house, especially if the owners would throw in the cute little girl!! Thanks for the post, glad you enjoyed my pictures.
